My fiancé and I contracted Sound Junction/ Gary Liebowitz to be the DJ for our wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. So, first off, we want to say thank you Gary! You were great! From the moment I spoke with Gary, I knew he was a true professional that was passionate about his business. When asked what sets him apart from other DJ’s and what experience he had with weddings, I was very impressed by his answer. He said his goal was to help put on an elegant event for the bride and groom, fade into the background as to not be the center of attention and play the music that is requested with enough flexibility to accommodate any changes. As soon as he said the word “elegant”, I knew we were on the same page. What sets him apart from other DJ companies was set in concrete at our wedding. Gary was very organized, had professional equipment that didn’t take up room on the dance floor and was easy going in his personality that when we had any last minute changes or request, he made the change without hesitation. It took a lot of stress off my shoulders when he had the order of events and just kept our reception moving. He always checked in with us to make sure we were ready to cut the cake, have the toasts and dance those special dances. There was no rush and I never had to keep track that things were flowing smoothly. I definitely appreciated this on a day that can be so stressful.

During the planning process, Gary was completely devoted to making sure he had open communication with us for any ideas we had or when we needed his help and suggestions, he was always an email or phone call away. His broad knowledge of songs in all different genres of music is very impressive. If I had an idea or had heard a song that I loved, Gary found the song; purchased it online and always emailed to let me know it was taken care of. He made it so easy! I also loved his website-so easy to use, convenient to get forms and plan the play list. We were able to listen to songs and add or delete songs from our play list anytime, day or night. Gary, thank you so much for being our DJ. We can’t thank you enough!

Gary was excellent!! We could not have asked for a better DJ. He incorporated requests from our 9 and 3 year olds, making them feel a large part of the event. Gary was amazing!! The DJ is the most important part of the reception and Gary exceeded all of our standards. He really listened to our preferences in the interview and applied all of them to the reception. Our reception was outside and due to some severe weather we had to change quite a few things around. It was amazing how Gary was able to accommodate each and every change and was able to make the evening flow as if it had been planned that way from the beginning. Gary was able to really read the crowd and the dance floor was never empty (Considering the wide array of ages, I thought Gary accomplished the impossible)! He is incredibly talented and you can tell he enjoys being a DJ.

Of all the investments my wife and I made to make the reception memorable, Gary provided us the most value. I am completely satisfied with the choice to hire him and I recommend him to anyone, anytime!!
